Convert M2TS files to AVI for Corel Ulead DVD MovieFactory 6 Plus

Even though it is announced that Corel Ulead DVD MovieFactory 6 Plus software has added

AVCHD camcorder support and users can import and edit high definition footage from AVCHD camcorder discs, and convert to standard definition formats, but I still met troubles while importing the HD .m2ts files captured by means of a HD Sony Handycam type HDR-CX11E (PAL), I guess it is not as powerful as it claims.

I have to look around for a practical and affordable program to help me out. My only objective is to convert these .m2ts files to .avi files, so that I can edit them with Corel Ulead DVD MovieFactory 6 Plus, and burn them into a SD DVD for playback on the DVD player connected to my TV, as well as computer DVD Player software on computers. Fortunately, I came across Pavtube HD Video Converter, it is easy to use and helpful, I finally successfully converted .m2ts files to .avi format, and the output files are in good quality, without any problems while editing in MovieFactory 6 Plus. It is my pleasure to share this HD Video Converter here. Following is the detailed steps, absolutely easy enough:

1. Click "Add" button to load .m2ts files to this application

2. Select AVI as output format and specify destination folder

Click the drop-down menu of "Format" to select AVI format for Corel Ulead DVD MovieFactory 6 Plus. Meanwhile click the folder icon at the end of "Output" to specify where to locate the output AVI files. By the way, if you wanna combine multiple .m2ts files into a single file, you can tick the checkbox "Merge into one file".

There are "Common Video" and "HD Video", both have AVI options, you can choose one according to your own needs.
